Fernando Gomes has been re-elected for a second term as president of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF).
Gomes, a member of the UEFA Executive Committee, singled out transparency as the main objective of this new term. “Simplicity is football’s main asset,” he said, “and things have to be as simple off the field of play as they are on it. Transparency is something we will put upon ourselves during the four years of this term. Along with my team, I want to leave a legacy as far as this is concerned.
