Watch Sidney Crosby Score Goal Baseball-Style In Penguins’ Rout Of Coyotes

Sidney Crosby is on pace for another Hart Trophy season as the MVP of the NHL.

The Pittsburgh Penguins center and captain scored another baseball-style goal Monday night by batting a mid-air puck past Arizona Coyotes goalie Mike Smith to give the home team a 4-0 edge.

The Penguins eventually won 7-0.

Crosby leads the league with 21 goals. He’s on pace for his best goal-scoring season since he tallied a career-high 51 during the 2009-10 campaign. The two-time Stanley Cup champion also ranks in the top five in points.
