Runners-up on the field in the 2016/17 UEFA Youth League, Benfica have registered a victory off it by winning the competition’s skills challenge – an initiative that helped raise €21,000 for the UEFA Foundation for Children.
Clubs in last season’s edition of the Under-19 tournament were once again given the chance to submit a video of their UEFA Youth League squads showing off their tricks and – like in 2015/16 when Barcelona came out on top – the clips proved a huge hit on UEFA.com, our YouTube channel UEFA.tv and social media.
