The Boston Bruins took home a decisive 4-1 victory Monday night, and while the offense should be noted in a balanced scoring attack, it’s Tuukka Rask who should make all the headlines.
Boston’s goaltender stopped 34 of 35 shots he faced and kept the Winnipeg Jets scoreless on five power play attempts while Boston struggled to get moving. And the cherry on top? Rask recorded two assists — the most he’s scored in a season since 2013-14 and one shy of tying his career high for a single season.
B’s coach Claude Julien joined NESN’s Jack Edwards and Andy Brickley following Monday’s road win to discuss Rask’s impact on the game, among other things. Check it out in the video above.
