Share this: The 2017 Verizon Slam Dunk Contest was one for the ages, for all the wrong reasons. It was a pretty miserable way to cap off NBA All-Star Saturday, as there felt like there were just as many misses as made dunks. However, the Indiana Pacers’ Glenn Robinson III was one of the lone bright spots, as he went on to win the contest. That last one sealed the deal for Robinson in the finals over the Phoenix Suns’ Derrick Jones Jr., who had some pretty impressive dunks of his own in the first round. Share this: The front end of the Boston Red Sox’s pitching rotation is loaded with the likes of Rick Porcello, Chris Sale and David Price, but there still are some question marks surrounding the back end. Three candidates — Eduardo Rodriguez, Drew Pomeranz and Steven Wright — all are vying for the No. 4 and 5 spots. Each is an interesting case, mainly because they all are coming off injuries in the 2016 season. Still, Red Sox manager John Farrell says all three pitchers are on track, and he does not expect any setbacks as spring training progresses. Watch Darrelle Revis Turn Himself In To Police In Pittsburgh
Share this: Darrelle Revis turned himself in to authorities Friday after the star cornerback was charged with four felonies and a misdemeanor stemming from an altercation in Pittsburgh last weekend. Here’s a video of Revis turning himself in to Pittsburgh police. Revis was accompanied by his mother, aunt and attorney Blaine Jones, according to Andrew Goldstein of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “He wanted to turn himself in,” Jones said according to Goldstein, “he didn’t want to be a fugitive from the law. He wanted to make this happen.” Jones is removing himself from the case after the pre-trial hearing according to ESPN’s Cole Harvey, but he believes Revis has a good chance to be vindicated. “Based on the investigating that I’ve done and the private investigator that works
