Share this: The Boston Bruins have made some pretty big changes of late. Bruce Cassidy took over the reigns as B’s head coach Tuesday after the team parted ways with Claude Julien, and they also called up Peter Cehlarik from the Providence Bruins. Cehlarik has accounted for 33 points in 40 games for the Bruins’ American Hockey League affiliate, and there’s a chance he could make his NHL debut Saturday afternoon against the Vancouver Canucks. Elon Musk In War Of Words With UAW Over Tesla Worker’s Call To Unionize
Share this: Elon Musk has been in the spotlight a lot recently for his role on the Presidential Advisory Forum, but the Tesla CEO is now making headlines over a disagreement with the United Automobile Workers. The UAW on Friday claimed it’s been contacted by workers from Tesla’s Fremont, Calif., factory expressing a desire to unionize, Reuters reports. The news comes one day after an alleged disgruntled Tesla worker, Jose Moran, wrote a blog post claiming the electric vehicle manufacturer overworks and underpays its employees. Musk told Gizmodo that Tesla thinks Moran was paid by the UAW. “Our understanding is that this guy was paid by the UAW to join Tesla and agitate for a union,” Musk said. “He doesn’t really work for us, he works
Patriots Fans Are Purchasing Insane Amounts Of Super Bowl LI Merchandise
Share this: It’s no secret New England Patriots fans are pretty obsessed with their team, but Fanatics has the numbers to prove it. The Patriots’ recent Super Bowl LI win over the Atlanta Falcons was special for a few reasons. For starters, New England pulled off the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history after the game went into overtime for the first time ever. It also was the Patriots’ fifth Super Bowl win, tying the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers for second-most. That likely is a big reason why Fanatics, which sells licensed sports merchandise and clothing, is seeing Super Bowl LI merch flying off the shelves much quicker than products for the Patriots’ last win in Super Bowl XLIX. Here’s what Fanatics reported
Trevor Bauer Takes Issue With ‘Liberal-Slanted’ Anti-Donald Trump Articles
Share this: What do drones and President Donald Trump have in common? Cleveland Indians starter Trevor Bauer is a fan of both of them. You probably remember Bauer from the disgusting finger wound he suffered during a drone accident while the Indians made their run in the 2016 Major League Baseball postseason. But he was back in the news for something entirely different Thursday. Bauer apparently wasn’t happy with the anti-Trump articles he was seeing on Twitter, and he let his followers know it. Really annoyed that @Apple and @Twitter continue to flood my phone with liberal slanted anti trump articles. fair and equal reporting? No? — Trevor Bauer (@BauerOutage) February 9, 2017 That started a flood of replies, some of which Bauer responded to. Here’s a look at a few
Scottie Pippen Reconciles With Wife Afer She Allegedly Cheated With Future
Share this: After rumblings of a divorce, it appears Scottie Pippen has reconciled with his wife. Larsa Pippen took to Instagram on Wednesday, sharing a caption-less photo of a wedding ring. Scottie also shared photographic evidence of the reconciliation. The news is somewhat surprising, considering recent events. The two initially appeared to be on track toward a divorce after there were multiple instances of domestic disturbances, as well as Larsa’s reported affair with rapper Future. Also, Scottie had put his house on the market. These events appear to be all in the past, though, as it looks like the two are very much back together. Celtics Wrap: Isaiah Thomas, C’s Come Storming Back To Beat Trail Blazers
Share this: Maybe the West Coast isn’t so bad after all for the Boston Celtics. The C’s opened their current four-game road trip with a brutal loss to the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday, and Thursday’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers appeared to be more of the same after the first quarter. But Boston came back from a 17-point deficit to top Portland 120-111 at Moda Center. Shocker: Isaiah Thomas led the Celtics, who were without two of their starters — Jae Crowder and Avery Bradley — with 34 points. Marcus Smart (18 points, five steals, five assists, six rebounds), Kelly Olynyk (13 points, seven rebounds), Al Horford (12 points, five rebounds), Gerald Green (11 points), Terry Rozier (11 points, five assists) and Jaylen
