A car travelling on an expressway in the Aichi Prefecture of Japan on Saturday spun out of control, went airborne over the median and collided with a bus carrying tourists, according to the Japan Times. The car’s driver, 62-year-old doctor Masamitsu Ikumawas, was killed, and 45 of the 47 passengers on the bus sustained injuries. A camera on the bus captured the horrifying moment, which can be seen in the video below (Warning: the following footage might be disturbing to some). Red Sox Notes: Short Outings Becoming Common Occurrence For Drew Pomeranz

Share this: The hope for a starting pitcher is to go deep into a ballgame and put your team in good position to win. Unfortunately for the Boston Red Sox, Drew Pomeranz hasn’t able to do that very often in the 2017 season. Pomeranz struggled through another short outing Friday night in the Red Sox’s 8-3 loss to the Detroit Tigers at Fenway Park. The left-hander only lasted 4 1/3 innings, allowing six runs (five earned) on eight hits with two walks. Since Boston traded for Pomeranz at the MLB All-Star break last season, the 28-year-old hasn’t been much of an innings eater. The lefty employs a rather slow pace on the mound and often tries to dance around the strike zone with off-speed pitches

But hear us out: It somehow gets even sweeter for the Patriots and their fans. New England players, coaches, team executives and staffers received a total of 150 Super Bowl rings Friday, which each featured exactly 283 diamonds in a terrific nod to the team’s historic Super Bowl LI comeback against the Atlanta Falcons. The best part? Those rings all came on the NFL’s dime. As it does every year, the league covered the cost for the Patriots’ fancy bling, paying for all 150 rings. When the Pats last won the Super Bowl in February 2015, their rings

F1 Driver Fernando Alonso Not Ruling Out Full-Time IndyCar Campaign

Share this: As Fernando Alonso prepares to make the next move in his career once his contract with McLaren-Honda expires, he apparently isn’t taking any option off the table. Alonso repeatedly has said his goal is to find a drive with a Formula One team that will be capable of fighting for the championship. However, he apparently isn’t ruling out a full-time drive in IndyCar, according to ESPN. The Spaniard was asked during the broadcast of Saturday’s IndyCar race at Texas Motor Speedway whether he would jump ship to race an entire season in the American open-wheel series, and he seemed open to the idea. “Why not?” Alonso said, via ESPN. “I mean, I’m very open to anything. I don’t have a clear answer
