Clemson’s win over Louisville on Saturday night was an instant classic, and it moved the Tigers up from No. 5 to No. 3 in the latest Amway Coaches Top 25 poll.
Louisville dropped to No. 8 after its first loss, while another Atlantic Coast Conference team, Florida State, went from No. 12 to No. 21 after being defeated on a last-second field goal by North Carolina.
Washington moved up four spots to No. 6 after destroying Stanford 44-6 on Friday night.
