After leading the Lady Pioneer Volleyball team to another Conference Championship and being named the Northwestern Conference’s Offensive Player of the Year, Colby Combs signed her letter of intent today to play Volleyball for Bluefield College in Bluefield Virginia. Combs was joined by Head Coach of the Rambling Rams, Brian Votaw, as well as family members and friends for the signing. Combs was one of four Pioneers named to the All Northwestern Conference Team and lead the Pioneers to 22-8 overall this season, one of the best postseasons for the Lady Pioneers since 1998. Combs will attend Bluefield College on both athletic and academic scholarships. Bluefield College is a member of the Appalachian Athletic Conference along with Milligan and Montreat.
