The New England Patriots added to their receiving corps (if solely barely) Tuesday, signing veteran wideout Demaryius Thomas.
After a prolonged run with the Denver Broncos, adopted by a quick cease with the Houston Texans late final season, Thomas joined the Pats to offer some depth able that New England has none in.
The Patriots introduced the deal Tuesday, however Thomas gave it the one stamp approval wanted Wednesday, sharing a photoshopped picture of himself in a Patriots uniform full with an emoji for the caption.
There’s loads of upside in bringing Thomas aboard, as he had some prolific seasons in Denver. But he’s coming off an Achilles harm suffered late final season, so it’s not a certain factor he’ll return to that type.
