NFL Injury Report: Tracking Week 7 Fantasy Football Injuries For Notable Stars

We’re nearing the halfway point of the NFL season, and injuries are starting to take their toll.

The beginning of the Week 7 slate saw Chicago Bears quarterback Brian Hoyer go down with a broken arm Thursday night, and another starting signal-caller will be out Sunday in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Ben Roethlisberger.

But there are plenty of other players who may be on the fence, and we’ll track the status of those players here so you can set your fantasy football lineups accordingly.

11 p.m.: Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner briefly left with an injury, but returned to the game.

9:15 p.m.: Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson seemed to hurt his back early in the game, and sprinted to the locker room to get it looked at. He returned shortly after without missing much action.

7:10 p.m.: Here are the inactives for Sunday night’s matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals:

6:45 p.m.: The Pittsburgh Steelers got a bit of an injury scare, as star wide receiver Antonio Brown went to the locker room with an apparent left thigh injury. Brown returned to the field to begin the fourth quarter, though.

4:15 p.m.: It appears Hill’s injury might not be too serious.

3:30 p.m.: This news is a bit concerning for the Cincinnati Bengals (and Jeremy Hill fantasy owners):

3:13 p.m.: Bad news for the Washington Redksins, who no longer have their top cornerback:

3:11 p.m.: It appears McCoy already has reached his “pitch count” in the third quarter.

2:50 p.m.: No team suffers more injuries at the QB position than the Cleveland Browns.

Rookie Kevin Hogan has taken over for Kessler.

2:20 p.m.: Geno Smith got the start over Ryan Fitzpatrick for the New York Jets, but he didn’t last long, leaving with a knee injury in the first half.

12:50 p.m.: On the other side of the ball for Buffalo Bills-Miami Dolphins, it appears the Dolphins once again are rolling with Jay Ajayi over Arian Foster.

12:31 p.m.: McCoy appears is going through warmups well, per ESPN.com’s Mike Rodak.

12:25 p.m.: The Cincinnati Bengals have their starting tight end back.

12:22 p.m.: LeSean McCoy’s status will be important for fantasy owners to monitor. He could be used in a limited role, per ESPN.com’s Adam Schefter, which could mean more touches for backup Mike Gillislee.

12:20 p.m.: Here’s a quick look at some of the notable players who are active for the 1 p.m. games:
