Here’s a look at where each team stands in NESN.com’s NFL power rankings as we head into Week 11. (To see our Week 10 rankings, click here.)
1. Dallas Cowboys (8-1; last week: 2): Ezekiel Elliot, Dak Prescott and Cowboys are the new top dogs after edging the Steelers in the Game of the Year so far.
2. Seattle Seahawks (6-2-1; 5): A Seahawks-Patriots matchup ended with one team turning the ball over a the 1-yard line in the game’s final minute. Where have we seen that before?
3. New England Patriots (7-2; 1): The Patriots lost Sunday’s Super Bowl XLIX rematch, and they fall from the top spot for the first time since before Tom Brady’s return.
4. Oakland Raiders (7-2; 3): Idle.
5. Kansas City Chiefs (7-2; 6): Reigning Defensive Rookie of the Year Marcus Peters made the play of the game as the Chiefs scored 17 fourth-quarter points to stun the Panthers 20-17.
6. Denver Broncos (7-3; 7): Did he really stay in bounds, though?
7. Atlanta Falcons (6-4; 4): The Falcons’ worst offensive effort of the season causes them slide a few spots.
8. New York Giants (6-3; 8): The Giants now have won four in a row after starting 2-3, though none of their six wins have come by more than a touchdown.
9. Washington Redskins (5-3-1; 10): The Skins, who handed the Vikings their fourth straight defeat on Sunday, have lost just once in their last seven games.
10. Philadelphia Eagles (5-4; 12): Philly shut down Atlanta’s high-flying offense to snap a two-game losing skid.
11. Pittsburgh Steelers (4-5; 9): The Rajai Davis of fake-spike touchdown passes.
12. Baltimore Ravens (5-4; 16): It’s been hard to get a read on these Ravens, who bulldozed the last-place Browns on Thursday night. Next weekend’s matchup with the Cowboys will be a big-time measuring-stick game.
13. Buffalo Bills (4-5; 11): Idle.
14. Detroit Lions (5-4; 14): The only NFC North team not to lose this weekend. (They didn’t play.)
15. Minnesota Vikings (5-4; 13): The Vikings haven’t won since Oct. 9, and their offense remains stuck in neutral.
16. Tennessee Titans (5-5; 26): The Titans have been an unlikely offensive juggernaut of late, scoring 118 points over their last three games.
17. Miami Dolphins (5-4; 21): That’s four straight wins for the Dolphins, who are trying to make things interesting in the AFC East.
18. Green Bay Packers (4-5; 15): The Pack were the latest victim of Tennessee’s power surge, surrendering 21 first-quarter points in a 47-25 loss.
19. Houston Texans (6-3; 17): The Texans remain in the driver’s seat in the AFC South, but color us unimpressed with their body of work so far.
20. Cincinnati Bengals (3-5-1; 23): Cincy’s only three wins this season came against the Browns, Jets and Dolphins.
21. Indianapolis Colts (4-5; 19): Idle.
22. New Orleans Saints (4-5; 24): The Saints lost on one of the craziest plays of this NFL season. Had they beaten the Broncos, they would have shot up these rankings. Instead, they climb just two spots.
23. San Diego Chargers (4-6; 18): After a brief respite, the Bolts are back to losing games in heartbreaking fashion.
24. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-5; 25): Blew out the bottom-feeding Bears.
25. Carolina Panthers (3-6; 20): With six losses already, it’s hard to imagine Cam Newton’s club returning to the postseason.
26. Arizona Cardinals (4-4-1; 22): Needed a last-second field goal to beat the moribund 49ers.
27. St. Louis Rams (4-5; 29): L.A. has failed to find the end zone in three of their nine games. They’re 2-1 in those contests and 2-4 in their other six.
28. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-7; 28): The Jags scored 11 of their 21 points Sunday in the fourth quarter but couldn’t complete the comeback in a 24-21 loss to the Texans.
29. Chicago Bears (2-7; 27): Most of the Bears’ locker room reportedly has given up on Jay Cutler. What took them so long?
30. New York Jets (3-7; 29): The Jets lost yet again in Bryce Petty’s first pro start, but at least they had this sweet hook-and-lateral touchdown to show for it.
31. San Francisco 49ers (1-8; 31): The Niners, who might have the NFL’s worst roster, now have lost eight straight.
32. Cleveland Browns (0-10; 32): Six more…
