Good for child’s play,
This set is basic, but functional. The bat carries a warning that it is not to be used with a real cricket ball, or else it will break. It is only to be used with a tennis ball. It’s a fun, low cost set to use with your children, but don’t buy it if you are planning to use a real cricket ball.
|Satisfied but not thrilled,
I bought the set for my kids who are 8 and 6. The quality of the stuff is fine and bat does look better quality than the wickets and bails. The ball is a tennis ball which is fine for the type of cricket my kids were going to play. The only disappointment were the wickets. The quality is not good (which is fine with me) but they are not full length wickets and are made only for toddlers. Once my kids will grow these wickets will not serve the purpose. The company can easily switch the full length wickets with the same quality of wood and then this will be a very good price for the start up kit for your kids or fun play at family outings.
