Hungary’s UEFA EURO 2016 squad landed at Nice airport today to a warm, low-key reception amid high temperatures.
Regional government representative François-Xavier Lauch led the local welcoming party which met Hungarian head of delegation Márton Vági and coach Bernd Storck as they stepped off the plane first.
The players followed them onto the tarmac before everyone posed for group photographs and a smiling squad boarded a team bus adorned with Hungary’s official tournament chant ‘Ria, Ria, Hungaria!’.
They then set off for their first hotel in Moussong, near Cannes, where they will stay until Friday, when they move to their headquarters for the rest of the tournament…
