When Whitlock returned home Tuesday night, he discovered that his Moonachie, N.J., apartment had been broken into and several items had been stolen. But the most disturbing part of the break-in is what the perpetrators left behind. Inside the apartment, Whitlock discovered a graffitied swastika along with letters “KKK” and the words “Go Back To Africa” scrawled across the walls, according to CBS New York. “It just re-establishes that no matter where you are, no matter who you are, this can happen to you,” Whitlock said, per CBS New York. As the polls closed from the East Coast to the West Coast on Tuesday, people waited with baited breath on the state-by-state results for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican nominee Donald Trump. Trump quickly pulled ahead, but the race wasn’t decided until late in the evening, after he won swing states such as Ohio, North Carolina and Pennslyvania. Trump wins the presidency by a 276-to-218 margin in electoral votes. But Brady’s comments Monday on WEEI’s “Kirk & Callahan” that he’s yet to vote, coupled with what his wife said on Instagram, have created a mess. And from that mess has emerged Mark Cuban, the opinionated owner of the Dallas Mavericks. Harmless Deflategate troll? Probably.
