Patriots Rookie Reset: Analyzing Malcolm Mitchell’s Role After Breakout

Share this: The New England Patriots’ 2016 NFL Draft class drew mixed reviews this spring, but it’s clear Bill Belichick is a fan of his rookie class. The Patriots selected a cornerback they trust with punt and kick returns, a starting left guard, a winning quarterback, a rotational defensive tackle and wide receiver and a linebacker they liked so much they traded Jamie Collins. Let’s see how the Patriots’ rookies have fared so far this season. Fantasy Football Thanksgiving Starts, Sits: Settling Toughest Lineup Decisions

Share this: Thanksgiving is good for three things: family, food and football. The latter is giving us three games Thursday, so that means you’ll probably be starting more players than usual in your fantasy football lineup early in Week 12. If you’re on the fence about any of your players, then we have some suggestions for Thursday’s Minnesota Vikings-Detroit Lions, Washington Redskins-Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers-Indianapolis Colts matchups. Check out our start/sit advice below. STARTSKirk Cousins, QB, RedskinsIf you’re not lucky enough to have a quarterback like Ben Roethlisberger or Dak Prescott this Thanksgiving, then Cousins still is a solid option. Greatest Thanksgiving NFL Games Of All Time Come Down To Three Classics

Share this: NFL games on Thanksgiving can be an even bigger feast than the food spread itself, allowing pigskin-mad fans to gorge themselves on three games. The Detroit Lions and the Dallas Cowboys traditionally host Thanksgiving games, and the NFL then throws in a prime-time special, and while not every contest is a classic, it’s still better than listening to the annoying aunts, uncles and cousins you only see once per year. NESN.com’s Michaela Vernava went through the list of Thanksgiving NFL games and picked the three greatest ever played. There’s no arguing with this list, as these games were absolutely unforgettable. Blues’ Road Woes Could Spell Good News For Bruins In Game At TD Garden

Share this: The St. Louis Blues might as well be two different teams. At home, the Blues are 8-1-2 and pretty much unstoppable. They are scoring an average of 2.5 goals in those games, while allowing only 1.5 goals per contest. But the road Blues have been a different story. St. Louis is 2-5-1 away from home, and while they still are averaging 2.5 goals per game, their goals against average is 4.1 in those games. That sounds like music to the Boston Bruins’ ears, as they’ll welcome the Blues to TD Garden on Tuesday night. Hear more about the Blues’ road woes from NESN’s Dale Arnold and Billy Jaffe in the video from “Bruins Face-Off Live” above. Adrian Peterson Injury: Vikings Star Could Return In December, Per Report

Share this: The Minnesota Vikings broke a four-game skid Sunday with a huge win over the Arizona Cardinals, and more good news might be on the horizon. Ben Goessling of ESPN.com has reported, citing league sources, that superstar running back Adrian Peterson could return to the Vikings sometime in December. Peterson suffered a meniscus tear in his right knee in Week 2 and needed to have surgery. The Vikings desperately need him back, too. They rank dead last in the NFL with 2.7 yards per rushing attempt and 70 rushing yards per game. It’s made their offense one-dimensional and was a major reason why they lost four straight games after a 5-0 start. Minnesota visits the Detroit Lions on Thursday for a pivotal NFC
