Infielder Yoan Moncada was recalled by the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday and will officially join the team Friday when they play the Oakland A’s. He’s been the center of an endless hype machine since he signed with the organization in March of 2015. Since then, he’s shown off terrific offensive skills: In 187 minor league games, Moncada posted a .287/.395/.480 slash line with 23 home runs, 50 doubles, 100 RBIs and 94 stolen bases.
