Floyd Mayweather Jr. Responds To Conor McGregor’s Money Demands With Offer

Share this: Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor both have expressed interest in throwing down under the right circumstances, but it sounds like the sides are world’s apart when it comes to financial matters. McGregor previously said he’d want $100 million to fight Mayweather, who supposedly is retired after running his professional boxing record to 49-0. Mayweather doesn’t see that demand as being reasonable, though, and he extended a counteroffer to the UFC champion Wednesday while appearing on ESPN’s “First Take.” “We tried to make the Conor McGregor fight,” Mayweather said. “They know what my number is. My number is a guaranteed $100 million. That was my number. “We are willing to give him $15 million and then we can talk about splitting the

MIT Finds Carpooling With Uber, Lyft Could Reduce Number Of New York Taxis

Share this: Looks like sharing really is caring, as far as the everyday commuter and environment are concerned. But don’t tell that to traditional taxi drivers. According to a study done by researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, increased carpooling through ride-hailing services, like Uber and Lyft, could eliminate the need for the roughly 14,000 taxis roaming the streets of New York. The study was conducted by Professor Daniela Rus of MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, and uses computer models to show how carpooling, when in conjunction with ride-hailing apps, could drastically alter commuting conditions in urban environments. As few as 3,000 four-passenger cars could serve 94 percent of New York’s commuting demand, while 2,000 ten-person vehicles would increase that  figure to

Tom Brady Not Making Any Predictions For Michael Floyd’s Role With Patriots

by Zack Cox on Fri, Dec 30, 2016 at 2:32PM 1,024 Share this: FOXBORO, Mass. — Tom Brady has spent the past two weeks getting acquainted with his newest offensive weapon, recently acquired wide receiver Michael Floyd. “He’s worked really hard to try to get up to speed,” Brady said Friday of Floyd, whom the New England Patriots claimed off waivers from the Arizona Cardinals earlier this month. “There’s a lot to make up, there’s a lot of time to try to make up, but he’s worked pretty hard at it. It’s been good to see his commitment, and hopefully he can go out there and play confident, and like all of us, try to go get a win.” Floyd was a highly productive pass-catcher

Dez Bryant Makes Ridiculous One-Handed Catch In First Half Vs. Lions

Share this: Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant hasn’t put up the numbers that we are used to seeing from him in the past, but he provided a reminder of how talented he is during the Cowboys’ game against the Detroit Lions on “Monday Night Football.” Bryant and the Cowboys were trailing by seven near the end of the first half when quarterback Dak Prescott threw one up for the star receiver to make a play on. The Dallas star had Lions cornerback Johnson Bademosi draped all over him, but was still able to make this incredible one-handed catch. Bademosi was flagged for pass interference on the play, but Bryant hauled in the pass anyway. The touchdown catch was Bryant’s 66th as a Cowboy,
