ESPN's Chris Broussard tweeted an interesting failed trade proposal that Celtics president Danny Ainge reportedly offered the Oklahoma City Thunder after last season. According to Broussard, the C's offered the Thunder point guard Rajon Rondo and forward Jeff Green in exchange for point guard Russell Westbrook and center Kendrick Perkins. Trading Rondo, one of the franchise's cornerstones would raise eyebrows as it is. However, the fact that this trade would bring Perkins, who was traded at the deadline in a deal that brought Green to Boston, is the real eye-opener in this scenario. Alas, Oklahoma City was not interested in Ainge's proposal. Rondo has been the subject of plenty of

Did Dan Shaughnessy Jinx Red Sox Season With Comments on NESN During Rain Delay of Game 162? (Video)
On Thursday, Boston Globe sportswriter Dan Shaughnessy declared this Red Sox season "the greatest choke in baseball history." On Wednesday night, however, he had a very different outlook on how the year would play out."The one thing we have eliminated tonight is that the Red Sox season is not going to end," declared Shaughnessy during NESN's broadcast of the rain delay in the final game of the Red Sox season. While Wade Boggs continued his brilliance at the plate -- he hit a team-record 240 hits and won his second batting title with a whopping .368 batting average -- the Sox' pitching was less than stellar. Dennis "Oil Can" Boyd was the only pitcher with double-digit wins, finishing his season with a 15-13 record. While
