Courtney Force Wins NHRA Qualifying Despite Huge Engine Explosion

Share this: Blown engines and success usually are mutually exclusive in racing — just ask Fernando Alonso. But that script was flipped by Courtney Force on Friday. During her first qualifying attempt for the NHRA New England Nationals in New Hampshire, the 28-year-old force experienced a massive engine explosion in her Advanced Auto Parts Chevrolet Camaro Funny Car. It mattered not, though, as Force still managed to post the top qualifying speed at 331.53 mph. Despite the ugly incident, Force was able to walk away from wreck, and eventually was cleared by the NHRA medical staff, according to For The Win. Didn't expect to be driving a @TeamChevy convertible at 330mph after my fuel line burst. 🔥But we stayed #1 qualifier for @AdvanceAuto team! — Courtney

Linda Holliday’s Swarovski Crystal Bill Belichick Hoodie Is Amazingly Extra

Share this: It’s going to be hard to miss Linda Holliday during Super Bowl LI. Keeping in form with the fashion choices of her boyfriend, New England head coach Bill Belichick, Holliday purchased a new hoodie ahead of the big game between the Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons. However, it’s slightly less subtle than Belichick’s usual gray, blue and sleeveless attire. The designer, Leah Miller, has outfitted wives, girlfriends and family members across the NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL in blinged-out jerseys, coats and other accessories, according to photos from her website. Plenty of Patriots supporters have purchased them, too, including Vince Wilfork’s wife (she owns quite a few), Jerod Mayo’s wife, Randy Moss’ former girlfriend and Deion Branch’s wife, sister and mother. Tom Brady Makes Good On Social Media Promise, Gets Instagram Account

Share this: One of the NFL’s elder statesmen is catching up with the times. New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who runs a pretty successful Facebook page, revealed Thursday he was considering branching out and joining another social media platform. On Friday, TB12 announced he’d narrowed his choices down to four. And on Saturday, Brady made the big reveal: He’s getting an Instagram account. Our money was on MySpace. The Patriots QB passed 100,000 followers in minutes despite not making a single post as of Saturday afternoon. It remains to be seen how much Brady uses his new toy — an offshoot of the “TB Times,” perhaps? — but if he’s any bit as active on Instagram as his wife, he should keep his followers plenty entertained. As for his

by Zack Cox on Wed, Oct 26, 2016 at 5:50PM 1,746 Share this: FOXBORO, Mass. — This weekend’s New England Patriots-Buffalo Bills matchup might be of the utmost importance to Rex Ryan, but to former Bills wide receiver Chris Hogan, it’s just another game. Hogan, who signed with the Patriots this past offseason, insisted he doesn’t have his first game back in Orchard Park circled on his calendar. “Nope, I’m going about this just like every other week,” Hogan said Wednesday. “It’s an away game. It’s a (divisional) game for us. It’s going to be a big game. Just (with) the way the outcome of the previous game went, we’re just looking forward to getting up there and playing a solid four quarters of football.” The Bills handed

Watch Tom Brady Throw A TD Pass To His Son At Michigan’s ‘Big House’

Share this: We’re sure Tom Brady is itching to rejoin his New England Patriots teammates, but he’s certainly making the most of his newfound downtime. As his team prepares for a Week 2 matchup against the Miami Dolphins, the suspended Patriots quarterback and University of Michigan alum made the trip out to Ann Arbor, Mich., where he’ll be his alma mater’s honorary captain Saturday in its game against Colorado. So, on Friday night, Brady decided to take his son to the famed “Big House”  to show him around. That led to this awesome moment: TB12 throwing a touchdown pass to his son in the corner of the Michigan end zone. Now, that’s how you fulfill every young kid’s dream. (We like the post-TD dab,
