USA Olympic Medal Count 2016: Updated Results From Rio Games

The United States almost always is in the race for the most medals in the Summer Olympics, and it’s no different this year in Rio de Janeiro.

Team USA earned the first gold medal of the games Saturday when 19-year-old Ginny Thrasher won the women’s 10-meter air rifle. There’ll be plenty more where that came from, too, as there are 306 total golds up for grabs throughout the Rio Olympics.

Here are all the U.S.’s medals so far.
