Saturday was a special night for Yoan Moncada at the plate, but he brings more to the table than just his bat.
The 21-year-old third baseman recorded his first major league hit, an RBI double, in just his second game since the Boston Red Sox called him up from Double-A Portland.
Moncada also held his own on defense in his first big league start, though, and his throwing arm left an impression on fellow infielder Xander Bogaerts during Boston’s blowout win.
Check out what Bogaerts had to say about Moncada, and right-hander Rick Porcello’s excellent start, in the “Red Sox Final” video above.
