Two officers have been damage in a crash Friday on the Northwest Side after their squad automotive was struck by a drunk driver, in response to police.
They have been southbound in a marked squad automotive within the 6700 block of North Caldwell Avenue when a Ford Crown Victoria hit them from behind as they tried to make a left flip, Chicago police stated.
The officers and the male driver of the Ford have been taken to an space hospital with minor accidents, police stated.
The male within the Ford might be cited because the crash seems to be alcohol-related, police stated.
