A person was fatally wounded in a capturing Friday in Englewood on the South Side, police mentioned.
About 11:51 p.m., the 23-year-old was sitting in a car within the 6200 block of South Laflin Street and was concerned in a “verbal altercation” with a bunch of individuals throughout the road, Chicago police mentioned. Gunfire erupted, hitting the person within the chest.
He ran to the nook of 62nd and Laflin the place he collapsed, police mentioned. He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center the place he later died.
The Cook County medical expert’s workplace hasn’t launched particulars on the person’s loss of life.
No arrests have been reported. Area South detectives are investigating.
