An individual robbed a restaurant at gunpoint Tuesday close to North Park University on the Northwest Side.
About 10:25 p.m., a male walked into the restaurant within the 3300 block of West Foster Avenue and approached a feminine clerk who was behind the counter, Chicago police mentioned. He then pulled out a handgun and advised her to empty the money register.
The feminine complied and the robber ran from the restaurant with an unknown amount of cash, police mentioned.
No accidents have been reported, police mentioned.
Area North detectives are investigating.
