An individual is in custody after 16-year-old boy was once fatally shot Saturday in Washington Park at the South Side, in step with police.
The suspect approached the teenager about 10:05 p.m. on South Indiana Avenue and shot him within the chest and arm, Chicago police mentioned. The boy was once taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, the place he was once pronounced useless.
The Cook County scientific examiner’s place of work hasn’t launched information about the teenager’s demise.
The suspected shooter was once taken into custody a couple of blocks away after main officials on a chase, police mentioned. A weapon was once recovered, and Area One detectives are investigating.
