Missed Opportunities Turn Into Lack Of Offense For Bruins, Lose 4-2 To Senators

Share this: The Boston Bruins were not in sync on Monday night in Ottawa as they fell to the Ottawa Senators 4-2. The Bruins had no execution and poor decision making throughout the entire game. Head coach Bruce Cassidy talked with NESN’s Jack Edwards and Andy Brickley after the game and gave credit to the Senators for creating turnovers in the neutral zone that prevented the Bruins from creating opportunities. Cassidy also said that the Bruins did not capitalize on creating traffic and anxiety around the net in the offensive zone contributing to the lack of scoring Monday night. Here’s Who’s On Team Israel, Which Shocked Korea In World Baseball Classic

Share this: March Madness has arrived early — albeit on a different playing field. The 2017 World Baseball Classic kicked off Monday morning with a stunning upset: Israel, making its first-ever appearance in the WBC, shocked two-time tournament medalist Korea with a 2-1 win in extra innings. Israel shortstop Scott Burcham played the role of hero, driving in the game-winning run in the top of the 10th inning on an infield single. Israel scored its only other run on Tyler Krieger’s bases-loaded walk in the second inning, notching its first-ever win in the international tournament despite tallying just two extra-base hits. The Israelis had to overcome gigantic odds just to reach the WBC, defeating Brazil, Great Britain and Pakistan in qualifying play to earn the tournament’s

Celtics Wrap: Suns Score Five Points In Six Seconds To Stun Celtics

Share this: The Boston Celtics looked like they had earned a hard-fought victory against the Phoenix Suns on Sunday afternoon. But, looks can be deceiving. Thomas led the Celtics with 35 points, but it wasn’t enough to overcome 28 points from Bledsoe and a career-high 20 from Ulis. The Suns improve to 21-42 with the win, while the Celtics fall to 40-23. Brad Keselowski Flubs NASCAR Cup Sponsorship After Race Win In Atlanta

Share this: Brad Keselowski stole a Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series win at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Sunday. Kevin Harvick led for a majority of the race but was penalized a lap for exceeding the 45 mph speed limit when going into the pit. The speeding penalty pushed Harvick to the back of the lead pack with 11 laps to go and put Kyle Larson in the lead. Keselowski was able to overtake Larson at the end to earn the victory at the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500. During his post-race interview, however, Keselowski made what is sure to be the first of many slip-ups this season, when he referred to the Monster Cup race as a “Sprint Cup race.” The racing series, which was formerly

Warriors’ Draymond Green Blasts Knicks For MSG’s Music-Free First Half

Share this: The New York Knicks elected to play the first half of Sunday’s game against the Golden State Warriors without music playing in Madison Square Garden, and one Warrior wasn’t pleased about the change to the in-game atmosphere. Forward Draymond Green felt that the decision was “pathetic,” according to ESPN’s Chris Haynes. “That was pathetic. It was ridiculous,” Green said, per Haynes. “It changed the flow of the game. It changed everything. You get used to playing a certain way. It completely changed it.” The Warriors’ star forward blamed the quiet atmosphere for the sloppy first half between the two clubs. “Did you see that first half?,” Green asked. “It was just bad, sloppy, all over the place. There was no rhythm to the game.
