Share this: Georges St-Pierre reportedly will make his long-awaited return to the UFC. The former welterweight champion reportedly reached a new fight agreement with the UFC on Friday, UFC president Dana White told Lance Pugmire of The Los Angeles Times. “He’s back. I’m excited,” White told Pugmire. “We worked at it for a long time and finally got it done.” St-Pierre’s return will give the UFC a pay-per-view star to lessen the blow of losing lightweight champion Conor McGregor while he awaits the birth of his child. GSP has a record of 25-2 and will be riding a 12-fight winning streak when he reenters the octagon. St-Pierre’s last fight came against Johny Hendrix when he successfully defended his welterweight championship at UFC 167 in November 2013. He

Eduardo Rodriguez is vying for one of those spots despite a lingering knee injury. Rodriguez threw his second bullpen of the spring Friday, and manager John Farrell was encouraged by what he saw from the young left-hander. Indoor Football League Coach Unleashes Crazy, Vulgar Rant In Locker Room
Share this: The Salt Lake Screaming Eagles of the Indoor Football League played their first game in franchise history Thursday night. It was quite the scene. Salt Lake’s game against the Nebraska Danger took place at the Maverik Center and featured fans storming the field in the first quarter (!) of the game after the Screaming Eagles scored a touchdown to cut their opponent’s lead to 14-7. The most entertaining part of the game — in addition to Norm Macdonald’s hilarious commentary, of course — came at halftime after Salt Lake scored a touchdown to cut Nebraska’s lead to 35-27 heading into the break. A member of the coaching staff attempted to fire up his players in the locker room with a profanity-laced

Jim Harbaugh Tweets Epic Insult At ‘Pete’ Finebaum Over SEC, Alternative Facts
Share this: If you don’t follow Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh on Twitter, you need to up your internet game. Harbaugh is as unintentionally funny as they come on social media, especially when he’s drinking milk at a steakhouse. But his best work yet might have come Thursday when he trolled SEC media giant Paul Finebaum — or should we say, “Pete.” We’re not sure what, if anything, led to this hilarious President Donald Trump-esque tweet Thursday, but there is a pretty lengthy list of grievances Harbaugh could have against “The Paul Finebaum Show” host. As SB Nation pointed out, Finebaum has gone after Harbaugh and Michigan multiple times, including for his salary. Biased media. Sad! Drew Pomeranz Focused On Being A Starting Pitcher In 2017 Season
Share this: The Boston Red Sox certainly bolstered their pitching staff in the offseason with the addition of Chris Sale, but there still are question marks when it comes to the back end of the rotation. One candidate for the No. 4 or 5 starter could be Drew Pomeranz, who the Red Sox acquired via trade last season. Pomeranz was an All-Star with the San Diego Padres in 2016, but he struggled upon his arrival to Boston. However, as spring training is officially underway, Pomeranz has put last season in the rear-view mirror and is focused on being a starting pitcher for the Red Sox in 2017.
