Magic Johnson Explains What LaVar Ball, Kris Jenner Have In Common

Share this: LaVar Ball isn’t the first parent to put his children in the spotlight. Magic Johnson, the Los Angeles Lakers president of basketball operations, told ESPN Radio Los Angeles on Wednesday, he has “no problem” with Ball’s antics and doesn’t expect them to affect his son Lonzo’s NBA career, according to Bleacher Report’s Mike Chiari. Johnson even compared LaVar Ball to Kris Jenner, the matriarch of the Kardashian family (of reality television fame). “Look, the Kardashians, we didn’t say that the mom was bad, and she made them a lot of money, right?” Johnson said. “She’s bragged on her daughters, and I think it’s the same here. He’s (Ball) just saying, ‘Hey, my son is great,’ and there’s nothing bad with that.” Lonzo

Braves Play ‘Mario Kart’ During Rain Delay, Use It For ‘Team Bonding’

Share this: “Mario Kart” tournaments have been tearing college roommates apart for years, but they’re bringing the Atlanta Braves together. The Braves endured a three-hour, 12-minute rain delay Tuesday before the seventh inning of their 6-5 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. But in the meantime, some of the guys — including Nick Markakis, Ender Inciarte, Sean Rodriguez, Jim Johnson and Jace Peterson — played “Mario Kart” on the SunTrust Park clubhouse’s Nintendo Switch, playing six races each before declaring a winner. And that winner usually is Markakis, who plays as Princess Peach. “The best in the clubhouse is definitely Nick Markakis, as he is phenomenal,” Braves pitcher Luke Jackson said, per MLB.com’s Jaylon Thompson. “(Pitcher Eric) O’Flaherty is pretty good, Ender is good and

F1’s Romain Grosjean Worried New Monaco Curbs Are Like ‘Take Off Ramp’

Share this: The Cicuit de Monaco has more or less remained the same since it first hosted a race in 1929. But one small change made ahead of the 2017 Formula One Monaco Grand Prix has Haas F1 Team driver Romain Grosjean concerned. Grosjean, director of the Grand Prix Drivers Association, said he’s worried new curbs at the swimming pool chicane could cause more drivers to end up in the wall, according to Motorsport.com. Many drivers have expressed concerns over new curbing along the wall on exit, but Grosjean is more concerned with the first part of the chicane. Larger yellow speed bumps have been placed inside the first turn to slow cars down, by preventing drivers from excessively cutting the corner. “It looks like a taking

Graco Recalling 25,000 Car Seats That Might Not Protect Children In Crashes

Share this: You might want to think twice before you strap your child into a car seat. Graco Children’s products is recalling more than 25,000 child car seats, according to documents posted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on Wednesday, via the Associated Press. The issue pertains to the seats’ harness webbing, which can break, and might not protect children in the event of a crash. Expected to start July 17, the recall reportedly comes after the NHTSA discovered the webbing problem through a series of tests. Graco eventually traced the issue back to a single batch of webbing. The recall affects certain My Ride 65 convertible seats, which were made on July 22, 2014. Affected seats have a tag on the webbing that
