Stephen Curry Takes Jab At Madison Bumgarner’s Dirt Bike Accident
Share this: The Golden State Warriors aren’t thrilled about playing the Utah Jazz in their second-round NBA playoff series. Matt Barnes and Andre Iguodala were vocal about their distaste for Utah, as they are under the impression that the Beehive State lacks exciting nightlife. At Warriors practice Monday, Stephen Curry was asked how he’d spend his days off in Salt Lake City and the two-time MVP responded with a jab at a fellow Bay Area athlete. While Curry’s comment comes as a friendly joke, it probably wasn’t well received by San Francisco Giants fans. On April 21, Giants ace Madison Bumgarner was involved in a dirt bike accident in which he sustained bruised ribs and an AC sprain in his left shoulder. The right-hander
Emre Can’s Amazing Goal Propels Liverpool To Crucial 1-0 Win Vs. Watford
Share this: Emre Can’s sublime overhead kick helped Liverpool bolster their push for a top-four Premier League finish with a 1-0 win over Watford on Monday evening. The midfielder grabbed the game’s only goal at Vicarage Road in first-half added time – and in style too, meeting Lucas Leiva’s ball forward with a spectacular effort that sailed into the top corner. However, they were forced to survive a scare when Sebastian Prodl smashed a strike against the crossbar in the final seconds, but the result consolidates the Reds’ position in third in the Premier League table, moving them four points ahead of fifth-place Manchester United having played a game more. Red Sox Wrap: Boston Rides Four-Run Eighth Inning To 6-2 Win Vs. Cubs
Share this: The Boston Red Sox looked frustrated for much of Sunday night’s game against the Chicago Cubs at Fenway Park, but their fortunes turned around late in the game. Boston took an early two-run lead but was silent for much of the night against Cubs starter Kyle Hendricks. The Cubs tied the game in the seventh inning against the Red Sox’s bullpen, but the Sox returned the favor in the bottom of the eighth when they struck for four runs off the tandem of Koji Uehara and Pedro Strop en route to a 6-2 victory. The Red Sox improved to 13-11 with the win, while the Cubs fell to 13-11 with the loss. Here’s how it all went down. GAME IN A WORDFortunate. The Red Sox
Eduardo Rodriguez Was Stellar In Red Sox’s 6-2 Victory Over Cubs
Share this: The Boston Red Sox used a four-run eighth inning to defeat the Chicago Cubs 6-2 at Fenway Park on Sunday night. Starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez was brilliant in six innings of work. The left-hander allowed one run on five hits while striking out nine and walking two. The four-run eighth inning was due in large part to the savvy baserunning of Marco Hernandez, who scored the first run of the inning on a wild pitch to give the Red Sox a one-run lead.
