After the Cleveland Cavaliers suffered a second straight loss to the Golden State Warriors to open the NBA Finals, James was asked to envision a scenario in which Cleveland didn’t protect home court. This, of course, would mean a Warriors series sweep, which James reminded the reporter in belittling fashion. And judging by how the first two games of the series have panned out, a Golden State series win in four games looks like a distinct possibility. Kevin Durant Stares Down Rihanna After She Yells ‘Brick’ At His Free Throw
Musical star Rihanna was one of many celebrities at Game 1 of the 2017 NBA Finals at Oracle Arena on Thursday night, and she did her best to rattle Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant. In the second half, Durant was at the free throw line when Rihanna yelled “brick.” After hitting a 3-point shot a bit later, he stared her down while running back on defense. Durant wasn’t fazed at all, as he finished with a game-high 38 points in his first NBA Finals matchup since 2012. The Warriors dominated the Cleveland Cavaliers 113-91 to take Game 1 of the series. ‘Game Of Thrones’ Actor Claims He Was Robbed In World’s Strongest Man Competition
If you’re familiar with the “Game of Thrones” character Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane, then you can guess that he’s probably one of the largest, strongest men in the world. However, he’s not the strongest man, and he’s not too thrilled about that. Icelandic actor Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson is enormous, coming in at 6-foot-9, 416 pounds, and has won Iceland’s Strongest Man every year since 2011 and was crowned Europe’s Strongest man in 2017. However, Björnsson finished just shy of first place in the World’s Strongest Man competition in Botswana on Sunday because of what he believes was a referee mistake.
