Bruins Players, Alumni To Participate In ‘Casino Night’ Saturday In Boston
The Boston Bruins don’t just have a game scheduled for Saturday. After the B’s host the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday afternoon, current and former Bruins will participate in “Casino Night” at The Hotel Commonwealth in Boston. All proceeds from the event, which begins at 5 p.m. ET, will benefit the Boston Bruins Foundation. Those 21 and older also can participate in “Casino Night” by buying general admission ($ 250) or VIP ($ 400) tickets, both of which include $ 1,000 in chips. Isaiah Thomas Hits 3-Pointer, Celebrates By High-Fiving Floyd Mayweather
There was a high-profile guest at TD Garden Wednesday night to see the Boston Celtics take on the Washington Wizards. Legendary boxer and good friend of Isaiah Thomas, Floyd Mayweather, was sitting courtside to see the C’s come back to beat the Wizards 117-108. So when Thomas hit a clutch 3-point shot late in the fourth quarter, he celebrated by high-fiving “Money” Mayweather. This wasn’t the only exchange the two had Wednesday night.
