Police are searching for a person who tried to sexually assault a lady Saturday close to Foster Beach in Edgewater on the North Side.
The 34-year-old lady was strolling south about 7:20 p.m. close to the seaside within the 5200 block of North Lake Shore Drive when the person grabbed her from behind, in keeping with a neighborhood alert from Chicago police.
He compelled her to the bottom, tried to take away her clothes and uncovered his genitals, police mentioned. The lady screamed for assist to a passerby and the suspect ran away.
The suspect was described as a clean-shaven man between 18 and 20 years previous, police mentioned. He was between 5-foot-10 and 6 toes tall and wore a black hooded sweatshirt, sweatpants and a black T-shirt.
