A 16-year-old boy was once shot Thursday evening in Gresham at the South Side.
About 11:05 p.m., the boy was once within an rental within the 8000 block of South Aberdeen Avenue with a male who was once dealing with a handgun, Chicago police mentioned.
The male discharged the handgun hanging the boy within the left shoulder, in line with police.
The boy was once transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in severe situation, police mentioned.
The male is in custody and Area Two detectives are investigating the capturing.
