Kole Calhoun Robs Brock Holt Of Home Run With Incredible Catch (Video)

Brock Holt has been robbing major league hitters all season, regardless of which position he’s playing. The Boston Red Sox’s superutility player received a taste of his own medicine Tuesday.

Holt tattooed a fly ball back toward the right field wall in the second inning of the Red Sox’s game against the Los Angeles Angels at Fenway Park. The deep drive looked destined to land in the Angels’ bullpen, but Kole Calhoun had other plans.

Calhoun raced back, timed his jump perfectly and absolutely robbed Holt with an incredible leaping catch. The impressive grab deprived Holt of a three-run homer, as Mookie Betts doubled and Christian Vazquez walked before Calhoun’s game-changing play.
