Dortmund missed a chance to overtake third-placed Hoffenheim as they were comfortably defeated in Munich. The only consolation was Raphaël Guerreiro’s blistering volley, but BVB will rue a key passage of play when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was unable to find the net after being sent clear. Instead, Bayern went up the other end to win the penalty which made it 4-1.
