A 41-year-old Logan Square guy allegedly threatened police that he would get a gun right through a home struggle Thursday, prompting a SWAT standoff within the Northwest Side community that ended peacefully along with his arrest.
He used to be arguing with two ladies in a house within the 1800 block of North Drake Avenue when he used to be locked outdoor and punched the entrance door and smashed the entrance home windows, in step with Chicago police.
He climbed again inside of and grabbed a bat from one of the vital ladies, swinging it at them and perilous to price them, police mentioned. The ladies escaped from the house after he allegedly scratched and choked one in all them.
When officials arrived to the house, the person spoke to them via a damaged window from inside of, police mentioned. Officers known as in a SWAT workforce and the CPD helicopter as soon as he allegedly threatened to get a gun.
