“2017 wasn’t easy for me, because I didn’t win a race,” says the Mallorcan of his switch to the Desmosedici, “and at the start of the season I couldn’t fight for the podium. But I was patient and I never gave up. I enjoyed constant, steady growth and we’re now ready for the 2018 season. We had better and better results throughout the year. Teamwork was very important and Ducati helped me a lot to adapt the bike to my riding style.” That’s borne out race by race, with better and better pace and positions for Lorenzo as he gained traction. Now, it’s time to look ahead once more.
