A person was taken in custody after a taking pictures that left a 69-year-old man wounded Sunday in West Pullman.
About 6:05 p.m., a 69-year-old man was within the yard of a residence within the 11500 block of South Yale Avenue, when a 57-year-old man pulled out a handgun and fired pictures at him, Chicago police mentioned.
The 69-year-old man was struck within the abdomen, hip and thigh, police mentioned. He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn the place his situation was stabilized, police mentioned.
The alleged 57-year-old shooter was taken into custody and the handgun used was recovered, police mentioned. Charges are pending.
Area South detectives are investigating.
