A person was killed and two others wounded Wednesday in a drive-by in South Shore on the Far South Side.
About four a.m., a 26-year-old lady was sitting within the backseat of a car within the 7800 block of South Essex Avenue, whereas two males, 26 and 30, stood round it, Chicago police mentioned. A dark-colored car drove by and somebody inside opened hearth on the group.
The 30-year-old man was hit within the arm and the 26-year-old lady was shot within the leg, police mentioned. The 26-year-old man was struck within the head.
They all had been rushed to the University of Chicago Medical Center the place the 26-year-old man was pronounced lifeless, police mentioned. The 30-year-old man and 26-year-old lady have had their circumstances stabilized.
