A Chicago man died Friday after a four-vehicle crash involving a semi on Interstate 90 in northwest suburban Des Plaines.
The semi was westbound on I-90 about eight a.m. when it hit a blue Jeep Patriot that was stopped close to milepost 74.2 as a result of a visitors jam, in line with Illinois State Police.
The impression brought about the Jeep to lurch ahead and hit a white Chevrolet Sonic, which hit a crimson Nissan Titan.
The driver of the Jeep, 54-year-old Andrew Szimon Jr., was taken to a hospital the place he died about two hours later, police mentioned.
No one else was injured within the crash, although one man was hospitalized as a result of emotional misery, police mentioned.
State police didn’t instantly say whether or not the truck driver would face citations or expenses.
