A 37-year-old man was shot Saturday throughout an tried carjacking in West Chesterfield on the South Side.
The man was getting out of a Nissan Maxima about three p.m. within the 100 block of West 89th Street when two males approached him and tried to take his automotive, Chicago police stated.
The carjackers pulled out a weapon and fired a shot, hanging the 37-year-old in the best shoulder, police stated. He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, the place his situation was stabilized.
Area South detectives are investigating.
