Mookie Betts says he doesn’t feel any added pressure from being in a pennant race, and it’s hard not to believe him.
Betts launched a two-run home run — his 31st of the season — in the third inning of the Red Sox’ 5-2 win against the Orioles on Monday night in Baltimore. It was the eighth home run that Betts has hit at Camden Yards this season.
With the victory, the Red Sox moved four games ahead of Baltimore for first place in the American League East.
Following the win, Betts spoke in the visitor’s clubhouse, as seen on NESN’s “Red Sox Final.” Check out the video above for more of his comments.
