Since obtaining the rights in 2015 Eurosport have reached 6.4 million* people with broadcasts around MotoGP™. The races in the premier class attracted the most attention, with at least 120,000 viewers per race on average every season. 2016 jumped out with an average of 150,000 viewers. The best viewed race was the culmination of the 2015 season in Valencia, where 265,000 viewers saw Jorge Lorenzo become champion. The absolute peak was during the Assen TT in 2016, when 281,000 viewers were ready for the restart of the race after it had been postponed by heavy rainfall.
