FOXBORO, Mass. — The New England Patriots brought three free-agent wide receivers to Gillette Stadium on Wednesday for tryouts.
The Patriots worked out Alan Bonner, Julian Talley and Austin Willis, according to a source. The Patriots need healthy bodies at wide receiver with four players at the position currently banged up.
Bonner, a Jacksonville State product, was cut from the Houston Texans’ practice squad last month. The 25-year-old 5-foot-10, 191-pound receiver was a sixth-round pick by the Texans in 2013.
