The Pittsburgh Penguins are one step closer to hoisting their first Stanley Cup since 2009.
The Penguins took a commanding three-games-to-one lead over the San Jose Sharks in the Stanley Cup Final with a 3-1 win in Game 4 on Monday night.
The Penguins had a 2-0 lead heading into the third period thanks to goals by Evgeni Malkin and Ian Cole, but the Sharks made it a one-goal game again after Melker Karlsson struck at the 8:07 mark in the third period. But any chance at a San Jose comeback was wiped away when Eric Fehr scored with just over two minutes remaining.
