Baltusrol Golf Club flexed its muscles during the first round of the PGA Championship, and it likely won’t be any easier Friday.
Jimmy Walker leads the 98th PGA Championship after 18 holes after shooting a 5-under-par 65, putting him one stroke clear of Emiliano Grillo, Ross Fisher and two-time major winner Martin Kaymer. Twenty golfers finished their rounds in red figures Thursday, including Rickie Fowler, Jason Day and Henrik Stenson.
But many of the other big names will have to battle simply to make the cut Friday during what is supposed to rainy conditions.
The action will continue Friday at 7 a.m. ET. Live TV coverage on TNT and live streams at PGA.com will start at 1 p.m., but video of the feature groups will start at 8:30 a.m. on PGA.com.
