The Boston Red Sox had everything lined up, but things don’t always go as planned.
The Red Sox were set to start two of their workhorses in the first two games of the World Series at Dodger Stadium, with Rick Porcello getting the ball in Friday’s Game 3 followed by a Game 4 start Saturday for Nathan Eovaldi, who’s been stellar in the 2018 Major League Baseball playoffs.
But thanks to arguably the wildest contest in the history of the Fall Classic, Eovaldi was forced to readjust on the fly, and he managed to do so and then some.
