Red Sox Vs. Mariners Lineup: Eduardo Rodriguez Takes Mound Vs. Seattle

The Red Sox are headed to the land of Starbucks, and Boston fans might need some extra coffee to stay up for another West Coast game.

The Red Sox’s 11-game West Coast swing started with a series split against the Los Angeles Angels thanks to Dustin Pedroia’s heroics. Now Boston begins another four-game set against the Seattle Mariners at Safeco Field on Monday night.

Left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez gets the start for Boston, as he looks to continue to improve in the second half of the season. Rodriguez was sent to Triple-A Pawtucket after a disastrous June outing against the Tampa Bay Rays, but he’s 1-1 with a 3.06 ERA since returning to the big leagues.

Boston will trot out almost the same lineup as Sunday, minus a catcher switch. Sandy Leon will be behind the plate to catch Rodriguez.

Here are both lineups for Monday’s game, which is scheduled for 10:10 p.m. ET:
