Red Sox Vs. Rays Lineup: Jackie Bradley Jr. Rests For Series Finale In St. Pete

It’s Jackie Bradley Jr.’s turn to take a seat Sunday.

The Boston Red Sox have been giving their regular starters a breather through their 10-game win streak, and JBJ will be the one resting Sunday against the Tampa Bay Rays. Andrew Benintendi will get his first major league start in center field and bat eighth as a result, while Chris Young remains in left and bats seventh.

Eduardo Rodriguez will get the ball for the Red Sox, and he’s coming off a start against the Baltimore Orioles during which he went 6 2/3 innings, giving up just two runs and striking out seven. However, the lefty also is returning to the scene of the crime, as the outing that sent him to Triple-A Pawtucket after allowing nine runs over just 2 2/3 innings happened at Tropicana Field.
